The Different Elements of a Brand

When creating a brand it is very important to establish the different brand elements. Below are some key brand elements to establish in order to ensure success for your brand.

+ Mission Statement

It is very important to determine your mission statement because that tells consumers what your brand stands for.

+ Tone

It is very important to establish a tone for your brand because the tone will result in brand feelings. You want to be able to pick a tone that creates positive feelings which you can show through advertising and different marketing campaigns. 

+ Brand Palette

Picking a brand palette is very important in order to make your brand stand out and be memorable. Typically, brands pick two colors in which they stick to using. Sometimes these colors can even hold different meanings to the brand.

+ Logo

Every brand needs a logo. This helps consumers identify the brand and usually every logo holds a story behind it which makes it unique to its brand. 

+ Sounds

Some brands will even have certain sounds associated with them. Sounds can help portray what type of brand they embody. Take Nike for example, sounds associated with their brand are cheering, chanting, heavy breathing, sounds of different sports equipment. 

+ Brand Mantra

A brand mantra is a three letter word that captures the spirit of the brand. You want to create a mantra that is unforgettable, so that when you think of the brand this mantra automatically comes to mind. This creates a strong customer-based brand equity.
